Stone End Instruments 5-Year Limited Warranty
Coverage and Duration
All Stone End Instruments are covered by a 5-Year Limited Warranty from the original date of retail purchase. This warranty covers the instrument for defects in materials and workmanship, provided the instrument is registered and used under normal conditions.
Important Stipulation: Non-Transferable

This Limited Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the Stone End Instrument.

The warranty is void if the instrument is sold, gifted, or otherwise transferred to another party.
✅ What IS Covered
This warranty covers structural and functional defects arising from the manufacturing process, specifically:

Structural Integrity: Failure of glued joints, bracing, or other structural components.

Materials Defects: Cracking, warping, or separation of materials due to manufacturing error.

Hardware and Components: Defects in tuning machines, bridge hardware, electronics, or other non-consumable components.
❌ What is NOT Covered (Warranty Exclusions)
The following conditions are not covered under this 5-Year Limited Warranty:

Normal Wear and Tear: Including, but not limited to, finish checking, fading, scratching, denting, pitting, or deterioration of plated surfaces.

Environmental Damage: Any damage resulting from exposure to extreme or sudden changes in temperature, humidity, direct sunlight, or chemical exposure. Note: Maintaining a stable environment for your instrument is the owner’s responsibility.

Owner Negligence or Misuse: Damage caused by dropping, impact, improper handling, or failure to follow maintenance instructions.

Unauthorized Repairs/Modifications: Any damage or component failure resulting from repairs or modifications performed by anyone other than an authorized Stone End Instruments technician.

Consumable Items: Strings, reeds, batteries, polishing cloths, and other accessories or parts designed to be replaced periodically.

Subjective Tone: Differences in sound quality, feel, or tone that are subjective in nature.

Act of God: Damage caused by fire, flood, earthquake, or other natural disasters.
Filing a Claim

Contact Us: Initiate a claim by contacting the Stone End Instruments Warranty Department with your instrument’s serial number and a detailed description of the defect.

Proof of Purchase: You must provide the original dated sales receipt or invoice.

Inspection: The instrument must be returned, freight prepaid, to Stone End Instruments for inspection. If the claim is found valid, the cost of return shipping to the customer will be covered by Stone End Instruments.
